I actually took pictures of what I wore to class! I am always wearing non-sweat things to class, but nothing very noteworthy. Still not here. Nevertheless, I've taken pictures- sort of. Anyway. I was talking to my roommate about blogging and she said that she wants to take more pictures like I used to with Sarah. Hopefully we can find some time to actually do that amidst finals and the end of the quarter since we won't be back at school until January. NICE. She also said something about starting her own blog, so if she does I'll be sure to post the link. I bet she'll have some interesting things to say, her brain is awesome and kooky.

Hmm maybe this would be a good time to start memorizing the speech I have to give tomorrow at 10am? I don't know, just a thought...the smart, non procrastinating part of my brain kicking in, or literally kicking me in the head cause my head hurts. Either way. This should be an interesting presentation tomorrow considering the circumstances.

polaroid picture

I experimented using this sweet program call polodroid.com or something. You download the program and then it can turn your normal pictures into polaroids. I'm sure everyone but me has heard of this and I am ignorantly fascinated by something that has been around for a while, but I don't even care. I think this is the coolest thing ever. I polaroided tons of my pictures, They develop right before your eyes and everything!

OH.

And I want to get my hair cut and colored like this (right girl). I am in love with it. I probably am just saying that I will, but I'd really like to follow through with one, the other, or both. I can't wait.

blustery day

Although I was a little less than hasty to get outside and take these pictures, I'm really glad that I did. It just goes to show how pretty fall is and how beautiful the campus is here. I might not have the same thoughts as I am walking to classes in the snow, but I will enjoy it all for now. I need to get a camera case, any suggestions?? I hate just carrying just my camera around because then I can't bring my other lens and all my other shit. I was also thinking of getting a new camera. I currently have a Canon rebel XS, I was thinking of getting a Nikon. Not sure what kind though. I am really digging those cameras from Urban Outfitters , too. Might have to double up and get one of those as well.

Halloween was this weekend and it was amazing and crazy. Security tripled on campus and there were around 50,000 people here. Thank god I have friend that stay with me or else I probably would have gotten lost in the masses of Paulie Bleekers, Lady Gagas, and bananas. It was an awesome night, though I really wish I would have just manned up and brought my camera with me. Only regret because there is so much I wanted to capture. I was a magician, I'll have to steal some pictures to post.

a day in the life

It was parents weekend this weekend which meant I had to be able to function during the day. I have to say that was a pretty difficult task. Going out late at night and then getting up for breakfast by 10 is just not normal for me. I don't think I've eaten breakfast since getting to school. I love it, but honestly that's how it's been going. Maybe I'll start munching on an apple on my my to bio...
Anyway. I've been living off of countless refills of chai lattes (homemade of course) well dorm made..in order to get through the homework that I have piled up on my invisible list of things to do. It's a really long list and so I'm thinking of making it not invisible because then I might actually remember what I'm supposed to do, isn't that a thought!

I haven't posted an outfit in a crazy long time. These pictures don't even do a very good job at making up for that fact, so go me. I still have to start asking my roommate to take pictures of my class outfits. I find it hard because as soon as I get back to my room I want to change into sweats and take a nice long nap. Tripod maybe? Difficult with the damn focus. Oh well, we'll see where I go with this.






Those are some DIY leggings too. Not hard at ALL. I bought some leggings at Forever 21 for like $5 and then sprayed bleach on them with a squirt bottle. I put it on heavier in some places. Wash in the washing machine after letting the bleach sit for a few minutes. wear GLOVES. And if you like to breathe, tie something on your face to cover your mouth and nose, it really helps when using bleach.





Oh and I couldn't find my keys the other day. This is a really good habit that I'm starting....

Oh laundry day. How I hate to love you. Actually I'm pretty certain it's straight hate. Lugging my many weeks worth of clothes down four flights of stairs and to the laundry mat is plain awful. Further the creulty by making a wash cycle a half hour and the drying cycle a full hour. Thus resulting in Katie taking multiple pictures out of boredom and Nikki, Tim, and Katie sleeping on top of the washing machine until the great Aaron Carter arrives. That made the day of laundry a little better. Sure it's my own fault for waiting more than a week to do laundry sometimes, but.. eh I have no excuse or room to complain. However, I continue to do so.
